Sourced from 100% organic Sangiovese grapes located in Italy’s famed Chianti Classico south area – 480 m (1574 ft) above sea level, which features a southern exposure, Mediterranean climate and â€˜Galestroâ€™ and â€˜Albereseâ€™ rocky soil.
This wine is produced from selected mature grapes, from a vineyard where the yield of grapes per hectare donâ€™t exceed 35 quintals. Hand picked and delicately processed, the wine is made in stainless steel tanks and aged in French oak barrels for 18 months.
This full bodied wine is dark-red, velvety and elegant. Slightly balsamic, it offers an imposing structure with a rich and fruity bouquet of cherries and wild berries, aromas of spices and violet.
