The Chateau Guiraud 2017 is a delicate vintage, with classic botrytis characteristics. It has plum, lychee, pineapple mango, and lime on the nose. After allowing it to breath, it has notes of white pepper. It has strong overtones of hazelnut, honey, apricot, peaches, and a hint of white chocolate on the palate. The Chateau Guiraud 2017 has all the characteristics of the superb luscious wines from Sauternes, and should age well for at least 20 years.

Wine Advocate-Parker :
The 2017 Guiraud opens with subtle notions of crushed rocks, wild fungi and fragrant earth leading to a profound core of orange marmalade, crystalized lemon peel, dried pineapple and paraffin wax. The rich, opulent, wonderfully exotic palate delivers soft acidity and loads of spicy sparks, finishing with great length and depth.
