FAQ

What is Online Kosher Wines return policy?
If there is a problem with your order, or with the wine you received, please call, or email us and we will correct it.
If we request that you return the merchandise, please re-pack the items in their original shipping material to ensure a safe return. We will send you a label to place on the box and arrange pick up for the merchandise. Upon arrival at our warehouse, the returned items will be inspected. If the return is a result of our error you will be refunded the full cost of the merchandise and shipping charges. Please note that you must return the original bottle, whether or not any of the wine was consumed. No refunds will be issued otherwise.
If the return is not a result of our error and your item is returned unopened within 30 days of delivery, we will apply credit for the wine minus a 15% restocking fee and the original shipping charge. You would be responsible for payment of the return shipping charge.
What is shipping insurance, and what happens to my order if it is lost or damaged in transit, and I declined the insurance?
Orders are automatically insured for up to $100. By selecting shipping insurance (if available), you as a customer are protected in full should your shipment be damaged or lost during the shipping process. We use FedEx and UPS as our primary shippers, and as a customer of FedEx and UPS, we are required to select or decline the insurance for each outbound package. As a result, we must extend this option to our customers to then accept or decline the shipping insurance. Should you, the customer, decide to decline the insurance of your shipment, you are assuming the risk of any unforeseen difficulties during the shipping process including: broken or damaged bottles. Please note that if there is a problem such as the ones listed, we are not responsible to replace the wine or refund you if insurance is not requested by the customer.
Why is my state not listed as a valid shipping state on your website?
If you do not see your state listed on our list of valid shipping states, that is because either your state or PA law prevents us from shipping within your state's borders. 
If I ship a bottle of wine to someone as a gift, will there be an invoice included, and am I able to include a gift note?

If you place an order and request it to be sent as a gift, there will be a packing slip included inside which will denote the contents of the package without pricing. If you would like a gift note to be included as well, please enter your message in the 'Note Box' during the check-out process, or by emailing us at [email protected].
Does Onlinekosherwine.com offer bulk delivery options, and if so what are the minimum requirements?

Yes, we can offer bulk delivery, however, there is a minimum requirement of 7 cases. The fee for this service is variable; however, in many cases the charge is nominal, inquire for more information. Click here to contact us about your options. 

How long after I place an order will it ship?
Orders placed by 3 PM eastern time will normally ship within two business days, providing all items are in stock. All orders that are placed are assembled in the order they are received. You will be notified by email your tracking number your order has shipped. If you place an order Thursday through Sunday however, we will use our discretion with regards to weather conditions as to whether the shipment will not go out until the following Monday to prevent it from being held in a storage facility over the weekend. 
Do you sell gift certificates?
Yes, we sell gift certificates in any denomination and they never expire.
What happens if no one is available to sign for my delivery?
Federal law requires that there must be an unintoxicated adult of at least 21 years to sign for any delivery since the shipment contains alcohol. If no one is available when delivery is attempted, there will be two more attempts made on consecutive days. You can contact us to make alternative shipping arrangements after the first attempt is made. Should delivery fail on all three attempts, the package will return to sender, and we must recharge shipping in order for the package(s) to be re-sent. 
How long am I able to hold wine at your location before it must ship out or be picked up?
We are pleased to hold your paid order for up to two weeks providing we are informed at the time of the order. 
Our hours of operation
Our office currently operates Mon-Thurs.: 9AM  4PM | Friday 9 AM – 1 PM Sun: 10AM – 2PM: We are always closed Saturdays and all Jewish Holidays from 2 PM the day previous. Times are subject to change during holidays and inclement weather.
Do we ship in extreme cold or hot temperatures?
We ship all year round. If you are aware of an extreme hot or cold spell from Pa. to your area, please notify us that you wish to delay shipment until the weather is more favorable. Our policy is to hold shipments if the weather is not conducive to shipping at the time of your order. We will ship if you request in writing, however you take full responsibility for any weather-related damages as they are not covered by insurance.
Does shipping via ground service guarantee a delivery date, and can I request a certain time that I am available?
By selecting ground service, this does not guarantee a delivery date, it is rather an approximation. For example, the normal transit time from Cheltenham, Pa to New York City is 1 business day, however there have been times where it has taken 2 days. Therefore, it is best to use the delivery schedule as, in this case, 1 to 2 days; be sure to give yourself ample time for delivery. As for time of day, it all depends on what stop you may be for the delivery truck. We cannot guarantee, for example, a delivery time of 12-3pm; it would rather encompass the entire delivery time of 10am to 7pm. 
How quickly are express orders shipped?
Please note that any order placed for 2 Day Air or Overnight delivery will ship the next business day (Mon-Fri). (Assuming we have the ordered wine in stock.) 
How long does shipping take from Cheltenham, Pa. to where I am?
Approximate estimations to East Coast is 1-3 business days, to Midwest is 3-5 business days, and to West Coast is 5-7 business days. Please note, these estimates are approximate and the amount of time can change, especially during the holiday season or with inclement weather. 
Do you ship to a business address and/or a P.O. Box?
Yes, we do ship to business addresses, which is advised if no one is at your home address to sign for the delivery. You must be sure to include the business/company name, as well as a suite or floor number in the ship-to information to ensure that the package(s) are routed properly. We cannot, however, ship to P.O. Boxes under any circumstances.
Does an item being on the website guarantee the quantity that I am requesting on my order?
When you see an item on the website, that does not guarantee that we have unlimited cases in stock. Should you order 12 bottles of something that we only have 4 bottles of on hand, we will notify you of this discrepancy in the shopping cart. Once the order is placed, we will contact our distributor to try and fill the order as soon as possible (anywhere from 2-10 days), so long as they have more stock. 
What qualifies for free shipping?
At onlinekosherwine.com we want you to have the very best experience from shopping to shipping. Every purchase qualifies for a shipping discount. That's right, no matter what you buy you’ll always get something off when you enter our cart10 coupon code, in the end what matters is the bottom line, and that is where we excel. Ordering multiples of 12 bottles will lower you shipping costs dramatically and will very often give you free shipping.
We will ship to Hawaii and Alaska, but it is unlikely to get free shipping to either state.
If you need your wine “yesterday”?
Sometimes life happens and you forget you need something the next day.  First contact us at [email protected] and note in your subject line IMPORTANT – EXPRESS  – SHIPMENT, also by all means try to call us at 855-798-0787 and let us know. While we try to send out express shipments the day they are received, sometimes the FedEx or UPS regional centers are closed and no pickups are available, in extreme instances we have made special trips to both the FedEx and UPS main facilities.  This extra service my incur an added charge. 
Do you ship wine to Hawaii? How about Alaska?
The answer in both case is yes although the transit times are longer, at least 7 business days.
Is it possible to receive an order on Saturday or Sunday?
Yes, it is possible in both cases, however check with us to see if your area has this service.
Can I change my shipping address after I place my order?
Yes, as long as we haven’t shipped the order there is no problem changing the address. Send an email with the corrected address, you can also call to make sure we updated it. Once the order shipped, (and hasn’t yet been delivered) we can reroute it for you, but only within the state that it’s shipping to. FedEx and UPS charge an additional fee per box for an address change.
