Flor de Primavera- Monstant Red Wine- Product of Spain
Rich and powerful fruit of very old indigenous Garnacha bush vines coupled with the structure of black muscular Carinena and deeply concentrated Cabernet Sauvignon, makes this an amazingly full bodied and unique wine. On poor mineral stony terroir high up in the mountains, the vines give low yields but immense concentration. Aging for one year in new French oak barrels adds some spicy, toasty flavors to its full bodied and dark fruit character.
Peraj Ha’abib 2018 – 95pts “A rich, deep red, offering ripe blackberries and blueberries with some orange-peel and black-tea character. It’s full-bodied with tight, round and polished tannins. Flavorful finish. Try after 2022″
