Nana's wine adventure begins in 2004 when Shahar and Eran Raz decide to follow their dream, and move with the whole family to the desert area around Mitzpe Ramon. In 2007, the first vineyards are planted in the upper part of the Zin river, about 800 meters above sea level. Cabernet Sauvignon, Petite Syrah, Chardonnay, and Chenin Blanc were planted. In just a few years, the dream has come true and Nana Estate has become an iconic winemaker on the Israeli wine list.
The wine underwent spontaneous fermentation in French oak barrels, with yeast-aging for a period of 7 months for additional complexity of the wine.
