Nebiolo is a cold northern variety that found a warm home in the vineyard of the Mount Odem Winery, which overlooks the Israeli-Syrian border and is located in the Baka Valley at a high altitude of 1060 meters above sea level. It is characterized by high astringency, freshness and long-term aging ability. The name of the breed is derived from the Italian word "Nabiya" – fog. The unique terroir of the winery's vineyards, characterized by mists throughout the year, and especially during the ripening period, combined with the research and development work of the winery team, headed by Adam Alfasi – the winemaker, gave rise to this special wine. This wine was aged for 18 months in French Oak.
