Herzog Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

The Herzog Alexander Valley Cabernet needs no introduction. Since it's inception it has become the benchmark to which all California Cabs are measured. These vintages are no exception, wonderful complexity, finesse and depth of flavor, with layers of earthy currant, plum, wild berry, spice and cedar. Long elegant aftertaste. Full-bodied, soft tannins and deep, rich color.

Yarden Cabernet Sauvignon

The complex, rich Yarden Cabernet Sauvignon shows layers dark chocolate ripe blackcurrant, and plum fruit notes with coffee, spice, earth, toast and opulent oak. The sumptuous, intense flavor lingers on and on. While immediately pleasurable, Yarden Cabernet Sauvignon was aged for 18 months in French oak and will continue to improve for many years and will age elegantly for ten to fifteen years from the vintage.  Drink with a good beef dish, such as roasted prime rib, served with pan juices mixed with a bit of reduced Cabernet Sauvignon.
