This wine was produced from 44% Cabernet Sauvignon, 44% Merlot and 12% Cabernet Franc grapes, from the Tzuba Hillside Vineyards. This medium dark, full bodied wine was aged in French oak barrels for 18 months. Complex aromas of spices, mineral soil, licorice, tobacco leaves and coffee beans, with hints of red ripe fruits, chocolate and roasted oak and a lingering finish.
