Yarden Rose' is made from 70% Chardonnay and 30% Pinot Noir grown entirely in the cool northern Golan Heights, using only traditional methods such as hand harvesting, whole cluster pressing and secondary fermentation in this bottle. The 2011 Yarden Rose features aromatic strawberry, red apple, lemon, and floral characters layered with hints of crusty baguette. This elegant sparkling wine exhibits good acidity with nice length of flavor. The wine’s attractive rosé color makes it particularly festive.
While ready to drink now, Yarden Rose should age nicely for up to ten years from vintage. Thanks to its acidity, the wine goes well with rich and salty dishes, while its subtle flavors make it a good companion to more delicate dishes. Try the wine with beet risotto, smoked salmon, sushi, or summer berries with whipped cream.
